Gospel Life began as a non-denominational church South Huntsville in January 2007. The church body at the time was called Life's Journey Church and was made up of a core group of 35 people desiring to see a move of the gospel in their city. And what a move of the gospel they would see! They could not have anticipated the dozens and dozens of baptisms and the making of so many disciples that would follow in the coming years. 

Right away, the response was much greater than the core group had expected. They figured they would meet in a classroom at the YMCA for several months, but the number of attendees the first week was already too many for that. They moved into the gym at the YMCA the next week and stayed in that gym until November of 2013, when God granted them use of the Covenant Center. Life's Journey shared this building with Covenant Christian Academy for a little over 5 years. In March of 2019, the Lord led our leadership to Community Fellowship Baptist Church to begin sharing a building. 

After our founding pastor was called to the mission field in 2019, it gave Life's Journey an opportunity to reset and look forward to a new vision the future. Pastor Dustin became our new senior pastor in June of 2020. We changed our name to Gospel Life Church and soon thereafter God opened up the door for us to lease a storefront space at Park Valley in South Huntsville, where we are about to begin two services on September 11th, one at 9:00 am and the other at 11:00 am!
